Anyone know the iMac hard drive type?

I have an iMac (20-inch Late 2006) and am going to upgrade the hard drive. Does anyone know what type of hard drive is inside so I can purchase the right one? Thanks!

It's a SATA desktop drive just like any other. You don't need to buy anything special. Just avoid cheap ones with "green" in the title as they're crappy and slow. I'd recommend a Samsung Spinpoint F3. Cheap, fast, and reliable 1TB drive.

Go to Google and type ur IMac model .. for example My laptop in Toshiba Satellite C640
Go to Google type Toshiba Satellite C640 SPECS . it will show ur laptop specs such as processor , Ram , a Hard Drive Size type and size .. Laptop names .. and specs ..
