I'm looking into buying an Apple iMac. I do alot of video editing, photoshop and alot of graphic design. What exact iMac would I need to get the job done without it slowing down and lagging while working with these programs. My one friend told me about mainly looking at the RAM. I was looking at the 21.5 inch iMac but not sure if that's a good choice or not. Its also cheaper so if I can edit and everything without it loosing performance and slowing down, that would be great!

When it comes to video editing, It all comes down to CPU and RAM. The $1499 will be perfectly suffice for everything you need to do. If you would like to have a larger working space, I'd pitch in the extra bit to get the $1699 model. Screen size is always an underrated trait for computers.

People in Kirkland should generally be good with computers. I would try to find some other friends who know what they're talking about.
