No and Yes.

You will pay VAT etc. when the product is 'imported' into UK, however you can reclaim it when you take the product out of the UK (i.e. export it) so long as you have no intention of bringing it back in (or, at least you can IF you hang onto the Receipts ). Handling fees won't be repaid.


Why such a complex waste of time ?
Well it's to stop people simply asking their US friends to collect all the stuff the buy from eBay USA from the Courier Depot and avoid Tax, of course :-)
