I dont' know if I forgot to safely remove it from my computer, but now it seems that no computer (I've tried 4, iMac, and 3 other windows computers). I'm devastated, my wedding pictures are on there and nothing is working...the light is on but nothing else happens...Any clue what is going on and is there any way to recover data in a situation like this?

try to go to device manager ( http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000833.htm ), and then assign a drive letter to the hdd. After that, try to access it from Computer, if not able to access it, format it and then use this program to recover your files.
