Can my system run Battlefield 3?

My config is:
20" iMac 2008, So:
2.66 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
2 GB RAM
256 MB Pixel Shader 3.0 ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro

One more thing, i hav windows XP SP3 installed do i need to install windows 7 to run it even if it runs pathetically??......will windows 7 consume more RAM in background processes while i play the game?....im using bootcamp to run windows...

No... You shouldn't have bought a Mac, especially one with a poor video card.

Windows xp is not supported so you cant play Bf3
cpu i will is ok but when you play you need to close other applications same with ram
gpu is very low ... . not sure can handle it even on medium settings. :/
