I'm trying to get facetime so i can see my baby in Cali, and i need to upgrade my iMac to do it, and im ok with that, but do i have to upgrade my imac to 10.6 then to 10.7 or can i skip 10.6 and go right to 10.7 (Lion) Please help. Thanks

Unfortunately, you can't skip 10.6 :(

Yes, you can skip. I updated from 10.4 to 10.6 with no problem. I am waiting for 10.8.

You don't say what model iMac you have. 10.6 and 10.7 only run on the Intel-based models.
