Have a imac10.6,cannot get my All-in One HP Photosmart C8180 series to scan,get a dialogue box that say 'cannot initialize' ,have tried scanning from the printer/scanner and from the pc,doesn't seem to work either way. Anyone any ideas.

Check to see if the driver software is compatible with your OS X version at the HP website > Support and Drivers section.
