How do i import mini dvd to imovie on the imac?

i have recorded footage on a DVD camcorder and want to know how i can import it to imovie on the mac so that i can edit the footage etc...

What is "mini dvd"? Do you mean those little White Castle burger sized discs? NEVER EVER put one of those in a Mac. Your Mac will only play life-size DVD discs.

You can put those miniature discs in most PCs, copy all the files onto an external HDD or flash disk and connect that to your Mac.
