How do i keep runescape from crashing on my 1-1.5 year old mac?

Ever since the new graphics update a few weeks ago runescape keeps crashing?!? i want to play this game but i have fear that it will screw up my FAMILY'S imac.....if you know how to fix the problem please help?

Updating your computer would be ideal! Use "Software Update" or go to an Apple Store and they can do it. As for playing runescape I agree with the person above you shouldn't play it, it becomes extremely addicting, I know from personal experience. But its just my opinion.

Maybe u can go and pdate your mac, so it has a newer software, so it will be compatible for runescape, and i suggest u dnt play that game, caus eitsgunna get u addicted. I mean im not the judge of what you do or dnt do, but im suggesting it

Uhm, have you tried setting all of the Graphics settings to low?

If it is just crashing to be a douche then... I have no clue.

Just set all the settings to the lowest possible, and I think JaGeX even offers an program for older/low end computers, it's on the home page, community tab, then downloads.

Other than that, I have no idea.
