i am using my first iMac, with windows i know how to plug in my sd card an transfer pic;s and music. now on this is seams a whole new story. i cant get into the files on the card to remove or replace. i tryed right click but no options I'm used to seeing.
if anyone knows how please help.

first you'd need to have the card to be properly formatted. i think you'll have to have it at fat (16) to be able to transfer files to and from it. i'm not sure if fat32 would work. ntfs wouldn't work most likely.

when you insert the card into the imac, it should pop up a disk icon on your desktop. you just double click it, and it will come up. if not, then try to click on the finder icon in your dock (two faces on lower left), and it should show the drive there on the left column.
