How do i restore my mac back to its factory settings? i have no disks, they were misplaced during move, if i need the disk, which one do i need to buy and where from can i buy it? any help matt?

p.s no computer jargon plz as im not as computer literate as most. cheers matt

You can buy them at a few places. Bestbuy or Apple are good. Its called Snow Leopard, thats the software. Install it, it will wipe the hard drive. This wont exactly reset it to the factory settings but it will be pretty close, its like a new computer, although you lose any apps that came with it.

Carful when you say "factory settings", when the machines are built at the factory they are empty with not even an OS installed, just retarded, empty computers.

You need the discs that came in the box.

Then restart and press alt when the grey screen appears this will let you select the disc to boot from, then just follow the on screen instructions!
