so yea my parents are giving me the choice of one or the other...im just in highschool jr year so its not that big of a deal for school really but idk kinda is with essays and such, not really sure which one i want, i like the macbook pro for the portability and such but from what i hear desktops are usually better than laptops and the screen for the imac is just freaking amazing love it, id mainly use eather one for web, essays, email, and some gaming but not rly just like minecraft and a tiny bit of runescape like once or twice a month..so yea what do you guys think i should get what are the pros and cons of both ? thx in advance :D

Get the large MacBook Pro. It's fast, portable, and has a good sized screen.

If you want the feel of a desktop and the portability of a laptop, get the Macbook pro. When you're at home at your desk, you can hook up to it like a desktop computer. It has USB so you can connect a normal desktop mouse and keyboard and mini DVI so you can connect a normal desktop monitor, and a headphone jack to connect desktop style speakers.

I'm in high school and have a macbook. Get a macbook, it's portable unlike the imac, so you can take it to school, the library, friends houses, or vacations. It's a better choice. Trust me, it's amazing. But make sure that you buy the iwork software with it.
