Is it possible to play a game on an Imac WITHOUT installing windows??? I dont wanna break my imac.... ): help?

I wanna find a racing or fantasy online game to play but I own a 27 imac... I wanna play a game but I cant find anything that is imac without windows os needing to be installed ): and I don't want to split the system in two... I was warned by a friend it could break my computer and I don't want that to happen! Help me please!

I agree with what everybody else says about your friend... lool

You can either find Mac games or install Windows, either as a dual boot operating system or in Bootcamp.

Your friend is stupid. Also what were you thinking getting an imac and expecting to game, ROFL. Go to a mac website and find out how to partition your system to use Windows. Then go buy a windows copy and install it as per their instructions.

Your friend is a retard. It is physically impossible for a Windows installation to break your computer. The very worst it could possibly do is screw things up enough that you'd have to reformat the whole drive and reinstall, but the odds of even that are very remote.

Also, if you can't find any games then you really aren't trying very hard. Steam is available for Mac. Download that and you'll find a bunch of available games. There will also be some in the App Store.
