Serious computer problem, plz help?

This might be long...
I have an iMac, not a laptop but a desktop. It was running on OS X lion. I wanted to install windows on it. I had the cd for windows 7. I put on bootcamp, put in the cd, then i followed the directions. The computer restarted, the screen that came up looked like windows. Then, i chose windows 7 ultimate x64 bit and chose the harddrive which bootcamp had made. It took like 45 minutes to install then the screen went blank but i could hear the engine running. I took out the plug, and put it back in.the screen came up saying that windows didnt shut down properly and then from there i chose start windows normally. The screen went black again. I took out out the plug and it back in again. This time i chose start windows safe mode. It was turning on, when a sign came saying that windows cannot run in safe mode. I put in the plug again. I tried many options but the only one which didnt say the message that windows cannot run in safe mode was start windows normally. And whenever i choose that, the screen goes blank. Please tell me what has happened and how to fix this. ( i have taken out the cd)

Don't listen to the above answer. My school has macs and we have the option to use Windows Vista or OS X. I'm not sure if you can install Windows 7, but you should be able to install Vista. Next time you try going on Windows let the blank screen go for a little while. I have XP and it'll start with a blank screen then start booting. Let it go for like ten minutes, if it doesn't work then, try installing Vista instead.
