I have an iMac G3 with Mac OS X Panther on it.
I love Panther but Snow Leopard would be amazing!
My iMac has 1 GB of RAM and has a 450 MHZ Power PC Processor in it..
I can deal with Panther. But I would love something past Tiger.

Snow Leopard can only be installed on Intel-based Mac computers. You can never use in on a Power PC-based Mac.

Are you kidding me? No. How the hell do you plan on forcing code compiled strictly for an x86 CPU to boot and run on a PowerPC? Not even remotely possible. Leopard won't even run as it was compiled strictly for the G4 and up. I've seen no reports of anyone installing it on a G3 without upgrading the CPU to a G4 and doing some pretty major tweaks, and even then it didn't properly work.

You want to run something later than Tiger? Get a newer Mac. That's it.
