What do i do for my imac G5 installer?

I have tried installing the imac G5 and when I get to the screen that says choose a destination nothing shows up and it won't let me go any farther. I can't install it and so I can't do anything. HELP!

Go to the Utilities menu, open Disk Utility, and see if the drive is recognized. If it is, format and install. If not, then you probably have a dead hard drive.
