IPad 2- How much does the 16GB hold?

How many songs? Hours of video? ect? I can't find the info anywhere! not even on apple.com!!!

it holds 16GB. It depends on a lot of factors. How long are the songs, what bit rate, Same applies for video, What format are they, How many frames per second? A better question is how much media do you currently have? Less than 16GB? Look at your current library, and see how big it is.

They don't want to tell you the awful truth, the iPad's storage is TERRIBLE!

Not only that, Flash/SSD drives are not erasing.

Say the iOS 4 and apps holds about 2GB of space, leaving you 14GB left.

About 2500 songs, not including artwork. Not including apps or videos or anything else.

So yes you will be juggling stuff on it and off of it constantly, and it needs a computer with iTunes installed as well.

SSD drives have limited writes as well, but the iPad is designed to be disposable, you buy the next one when it comes out next year and so on at $500-$1000 a pop. A real waste of money.

The iPad isn't a safe device to use online, least on a Mac one can change their browser.

Do the math. If 2 GB will hold 360 minutes of video, than 16GB will be 2880 minutes of video.

well thats a hard question to answer it all depends on how much music you purchase, how long are the songs, how long are the videos. each time you purchase something you can keep track of how many GB you have left. hope that helps
