Ipad or netbook for college?

I'm a college student and am thinking of purchasing a netbook or ipad to use during class. Is there anyone who has experience with both that could give me some advice?

pros: iPad is a touch-screen tablet PC with 9.7 inch screen and 680 gram. It is easy to be taken. It is one of the e-book that made by iPad company with the function of searching internet, sending and receiving e-mail, reading e-book and playing game, music, playing video or audio, etc.

cons: No support for Flash, no Built-in Camera, the lack ability to multi-task, Among the chief complaints, there are still other criticisms about ipad: no monthly television service subscriptions, its lack of video conferencing capabilities, its non-existent USB ports, its closed system, 4:3 aspect ratios, dependence on adapters, etc.

ipad is a powerful double-edged sword, if you use it in the way you like, then you can create its maximum value.

If you honestly plan on typing notes, get a netbook.
While the iPad is a good casual device, I wouldn't use it for major typing.
