What app is most like microsoft word?

i just got an iPad and i am looking for an app that runs like microsoft word and can type documents

Openoffice.org. same function with MSWord, real to purchase n smaller size compare to mswrd.

The good part: Apple does offer Pages, keynote, and many other applications you could find on a Mac computer.
The bad part: they cost $5-$10.
If you are not willing to pay for those apps, there is more solutions. Ido notepad I think it's called, (the logo is a blue journal) allows you to type things out, email them, and even password lock. You can also change fonts and size.

Try OpenOffice.org and it might work for Mac IDK if that's what you're using.
