I get the error message "the sender address was rejected by the server" when trying to send emails?

I can purchase my emails to my iphone 4 with no problems, but every time I try to send an email i get the error message "the sender address 'myname@yahoo.co.uk' was rejected by the server" Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to correct it?

The server name isn`t suitable for delivering the e-mail.
Change this in the e-mail settings.
Choose the mentioned kind of e-mail and make them suitable.
