I just got an iphone and i purchase 1 song before I had even connected it to itunes. When i went onto itunes, the song appears in the tab that says music in the Iphone tab. When you are in itunes right click your phone (under your device) and choose "transfer purchases". That will transfer everything on your phone to your computer and itunes. All new music and new apps will be transferred.
