How do I put songs on my iPhone from someone elses computer?

Postby sadiq58 » Sat Nov 20, 2010 8:14 am

I'm on my husbands laptop and he just purchase the new Dave Matthews Band CD into iTunes. So I want to put it on my iphone without erasing all of my songs that are already on it from another computer. Do you know how I can do this? Thanks so much!

You can use an iphone to computer transfer program to backup the songs from iphone to your computer first b4 sync.I personally use Cucusoft iPad/iPhone/iPod to Computer Transfer. It helps me to transfer my songs/videos/photos/playlists etc from iphone to my computer directly and safely. It works well for me,you can give it a try.
real purchase it at: http://www.ipodtocomputercopy.com/ipodconverter/ipod-itouch-iphone-transfer.html

It even has step-by-step guide on the whole process.
Hope it helps.

Auto sync with new computer will erase iphone contents those not purchased from itunes store.
itunes blocks this function since itunes is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to iphone. you
must utilize other tools to achieve that. There're couple of tools for transferring the files between iphone
and computer (for backup)depends on your demands, e.g transfer only songs/videos, transfer photos etc. You can have a look of below review site, hope it useful.

I would recommend you try this versatile iPhone to computer transfer

http://ipod-tool.com/ipod-software/transfer-iphone-music-to-computer.html

How does it work? Just great. It supports iPhone to computer transfer, iPhone to iTunes transfer and computer to iPhone transfer.
All files can be included, like music, videos, photos, TV Shows and podcasts etc.

When you use it, you will know why so many iPhone users choose it.
Hope I can help.

You can manually manage your iPhone in iTunes. Or an easier option would be to purchase this iPhone manager with which you can add media files, create playlists etc. without iTunes:

Hi,

I had the same problem (with iTunes it is a problem). It was quickly resolved with this Software:

It's real and works perfectly with my iPhone 4.

Drag the song to your desktop, open up your email, email a file, then send yourself the song, then purchase it onto your computer on iTunes, finally plug your ipod in and upload it.
