Just learning son's old iPhone. Connected to desktop to upgrade OS. Get a warning that I have "purchased items" that have not been transferred to iTunes. Songs, presumably. I clicked Sync, but the few songs on the phone don't show up in iTunes. Not many songs, but I'd rather not lose them by clicking Continue in the warning dialog. How do I get them over?

connect the iPhone to your computer and go into iTunes, then you need to right click on the iPhone andd click on transfer purchases. you will need the user name and password for the account that the music, apps, ect. was purchased on to use them.
