How do you block a number from an iphone so a person cant call or text you?

My friend gave my number to his other friend who is a jerk and he refuses to delete my number. He keeps texting and calling me. What do i do

Actually, I've blocked someone on my phone before. I have a Samsung Impression though, not an iPhone. On my phone, I go to the number that I would want blocked, and I can select "block caller" and it works. Look on your phone and see if you can find that option, if not, ask someone at AT&T. Hope you figure it out.

You can't on your phone. Unless their is an app for that. LOL
The only way you can do it is if you contact AT&T.

You get google voice and it allows you to do that. Or you can just text "STOP TEXTING ME" to the phone number of the guy.
