IPHONE: Is there a shortcut to get to the beginning of a text message thread?

Since I got the iPhone back in September '10, I have some text message threads that are pretty long up to today. Is there any shortcut or secret way I can get to the beginning of the thread instead of having to press "loading earlier messages" over and over again?

wow.... your telling me Iphone doesnt have "jump to top" option for threads, blogs, sms, mms, etc?????? Wow... just wow... The iphone is sooooooo amazing... NOT!

Sorry... dont App store have an app add-on??? At Least.... LOL

Nope. Well there's 1 other way that may help. If you remember any particular (helps if it is not a common) word that was in the text you could use Spotlight to help go to that particular text if is near top of that thread.
