I'm locked out of my iPhone 4 and when I tried to restore it to my computer it says I need the lock code?

I've done the whole restoring process where you hold the lock button and turn the phone off then hold the home button and connect it to itunes but when i plug it into the computer it says that my iphone needs the pass code to connect to itunes, I have a new computer so I don't have my backup.
