What's the difference between iphone 4 from the uk and iphone 4 from the us?

will i miss out on any features such as hardware/software features from the U.S version of iphone 4?

and..

the UK version of the iPhone 4 is unlocked right?

i just want to know because i want to buy the unlocked version of the iphone 4.. i also live in the USA!

You are correct, apple controls all the hardware and software of their releases, not matter where the hardware is the same, the written software might be a little different in your case it's programmed to have the phone unlocked.

All features and software is the same aside from the unlocked issue. You are correct, UK ones are unlocked.

There are no hardware or software differences whatsoever. The UK version will probably be locked to the specific network (unless you get it from the Carphone Warehouse) but in the UK all the networks use identical technologies and if you go to any town centre you will probably find phone unlocking places, and in fact a large amount of farmer's markets now sell phone accessories and unlocking as well as computers and games consoles!
