Depends upon who the shipper is. If it's Apple then yes a signature is required for all packages. Now it depends upon which type of signature. If it's an indirect signature then you can go to the Apple website (did you order it from here?) and print out a release you can sign and leave for Fedex. If it's a direct signature then someone has to be home to sign for it, the only option is to have it held at a Fedex facility, either the station or a Fedex Office/Kinkos. If the package is from any other shipper then it's entirely up to them whether a signature is required.Please answer previous iPhone users who had preordered and had FedEx as a carrier...
