Why is my auxiliary cable not working in my car?

Postby boise17 » Tue May 22, 2012 12:33 pm

I have a Toyota Camry 2009. So after 2 years of no problems, My car cannot play from my iPhone. The specific problem is when I try to press the aux button in the car, it will stay on the aux connection for a short period of time and will immediately change to either am or fm radio or just shutoff completely. I have kept am and fm radio for a similar duration, but nothing changes. I have not tried to change the cable, but are there other any options?

Chances are it is the cable. If you don't want to buy another one, borrow an AUX cable from a friend so you don't have to pay for a new one if a broken AUX cable is not the case.
