Will i get charged roaming charges on Iphone through wifi? Should i keep or remove my SIM card?

I'm from Canada and my service provider is Rogers but I'm staying in the US for 2 weeks. I'm currently connected to the AT&T network. I turned my data roaming off, 3G & cellular data so that I couldn't be charged on my phone, but will I still be charged if I use wifi in the US? I know wifi is usually real, but I don't know if this changes if the phone is using another service provider in another country.

Need to know ASAP!!

Thanks

Wifi has no relation whatsoever to Data Connections.
Be sure an "E" or "3G" doesnt show on the task bar and you are good to go.

If you have your wifi connected then you will not be charged for anything. wifi is real.
