120gb ipod classic wont sync?

my ipod classic gets so far into a sync and everything crashes.

i have tried: restoring my ipod resetting it. ive reinstalled itunes and downgraded itunes. but still no result. PLEASE can anyone help!!

make sure there isnt any semen in the hard drive
