Okay, so here's my issue. my old computer, which was a pc, broke down, and now I'm getting a new computer which is a mac. But my ipod touch was synced to my old pc, so is it possible to transfer my purchases/songs from my ipod to the new, mac computer? will it even be compatible?

its easily compatible. all ur songs and purchases from the itunes store are saved in ur "Apple id", the account used to buy from the store. when u get ur mac, go to the itunes store and sign in. all ur songs should then appear in ur library and u can safely sync as much as u want.
