Can you listen to your music through a Bluetooth head set on a iPod ?

I have a iPod 4 th gen and it has blue tooth but I can't figure out what it's for can some one help?

depends what you mean by headset. is it the one that only goes into one of your ears or Bluetooth headphones. I have a Rocket Fish Bluetooth headphones and i can make calls and listen to music. it also has volume controls and next and previous song buttons. this is the Bluetooth headphones i have.
And it works on ipod touches and iphones.
