How to connect ipod to internet using laptop as modem?

i moved to pakistan and took my laptop with me, im using a usb internet stick (Dongle) for internet but it only works on my laptop but i need internet on my ipod can it be done by sticking the usb for my ipod in to the laptop (i have 3 usb ports) and connect from there or is there any other way i can get internet on my ipod using a usb internet stick (Dongle).

No, but you can attach the dongle on one of your laptop's USB port and use your laptop's built-in wifi adapter as an access point for your iPod.

When your dongle is connected, go to Control Panel > Network Connections. Select your dongle and your wireless adapter. Right click on them and select Bridge Connections. Read more:
