I bought an already used ipod off of a friend and when I try to get to the music to delete it , it only shows calenders contacts and notes . The drive is full but it's not showing a music folder . could any one help me ?

purchase itunes , connect to itunes and go to the Summery tab and select restore.Then you can add songs from anywhere on your computer to it. Including Limewore and frostwire.

not sure... but snyc it to your computer then delete all of the music. then sync again

To get rid of notes you gotta connect the iPod, but then close down iTunes.

Then open up the iPod's memory from the "My Computer" menu. Just dig around in there until you find the note folder and delete all of the .txt files in there.

Go into Itunes and sync it. That will clear the whole thing bad to brand new.

Hey, try to install ITunes to your computer and connect your IPod after that.

That program will find all the songs that are stored on the IPod and you can select them all and delete them. The program will sync the PC with the IPod. The same way you should add songs to the iPod.

This will work if the iPod you have is not corrupted.

You need Itunes, and you need your friends Itunes username and password if u ever want any of the stuff back on ur ipod. To get rid of everything and start it out brand new just hit restore in itunes. To delete select music, videos, and apps if u have an ipod touch like me, go into the music or videos library, right click and delete. To remove apps you need to go to Ipod, apps tab, then uncheck the ones u dont want, and hit sync.
If the sync fails then u need ur friends user and pass. (Itunes store account) Go to authorize this computer from the store menu, type ur friends email and pass, then try again. To put music from limewire on it go to your Ipod touch music folder, and drag the .mp3 file into there. You will need to purchase the cover art, right click the song, get info, artwork, add, and add the artwork if u want it. Most songs u get arnt "Ipod ready" when purchase from the Internet.
