How do I transfer music from my ipod touch to Windows Media Player?

Postby mantotohpa19 » Wed Nov 24, 2010 12:32 am

I recently got a new laptop. I have an ipod Touch. Before on my desktop computer, all of my music was stored on itunes. When I plug in my ipod touch into my new laptop, it reads it as a camera and only shows pictures instead of the music. Is there any way to get the music from my ipod and transfer it to Windows Media Player?

You can follow this step by step guide to transfer the songs from your iPod touch to computer at first, and then you can import the music into windows media player.

It won't be a problem if you use AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer.
It automatically transfers your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos to computer and iTunes. Backup all your music and video in a couple of clicks. Really makes music and videos sharing pretty simple and enjoyable. Wish this can help and good luck.

I think its step by step guide is most helpful.

Hi, my friend, maybe the format can't support, you can transfer it or you can backup your music to PC.
This is very easy, you only need one iPod tool.
I recommend you a powerful tool, Tipard iPod Transfer Pro, it is very good to use.
It can transfer files between PC and iPod.
Backup your files, etc.
Hope it can help you, and good luck for you!

You don't. You use iTunes. Because an iPod is an Apple product.

You've had a decade to learn this. You have to use iTunes.

Hello, as long as your songs are still on your iPod, you can get them onto your computer and iTunes easily.

The most convenient and secure way is to use an iPod-to-computer transfer program to help you, like this handy one called Tansee iPod Transfer
http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tansee-iPod-Transfer.htm
Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer. The whole process goes as follows:

Firstly install this program on your computer. When you plug your iPod to the computer, this program will instantly display all songs and videos on the iPod.You simply select what you wish to transfer and click "Copy" button. Done. All your selected files will be copied to your computer safely. Now you can easily add those songs and videos to your iTunes library. See detailed guide.
More importantly, this won't overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names are preserved.

Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process:

Best luck!
