BearShare can't sync to an iPod directly. But there are a number of real iPod Managers if you don't like iTunes, But iTunes is real & easy to use. These steps are for iTunes but other programs are similar.

Go to your purchase directory.
Sort by Type (Go to Details View & click on Type)
Select all the MP3s
Drag them over the iTunes window to the [Library] in the upper-left side (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, etc).
Sync your iPod with iTunes.

I would recommend converting them first using a program like FooBar2000. That way any files that may be less than clean (File Sharing & Viruses are like BFFs) will be cleaned. Also if they're 320kbps & you want 160kbps or 128kbps you're good. Make sure you get the most current version of LAME { http://www.rarewares.org/ }. LAME's VBR V5 (?128kbps) often sounds better than iTunes 192kbps. You'll get a warning about converting from one lossless format to another, but if your originals are 160kbps or above there shouldn't be any noticeable quality problems.
