IPod Touch says "Can't connect to iTunes Store, please check date and time."?

Hi, I have perfect internet connection and the software is up to date on my iPod, yet whenever I try to update my apps through the iTunes store or need to use iTunes/internet through an application on my iPod, this message comes up!
Any ideas ... ?

Tap Settings, General, Date & Time and set the date and time properly. You probably have an app that's messing with it...
