My ipod touch was taking forever to restore a so i unplugged it and it stayed on the same screen and its froze?

the screen is the apple with a loading line under the apple i tryed turning it off and holding the home button and i also tryed plugging it in to the computer and ihome please help me!

you can try to hold the power button/sleep button and the home button at the same time until you see the apple logo by itself or just wait until it dies.
