My Ipod touch won't update to iOS 5.?

Okay so I know there are a lot of these questions going around but I have tried downloading it from iTunes it self and from the firmware, neither of which worked. Is there any other ways to update it to iOS 5? My iPod touch is a 4th generation, 8 gig. The current version is 4.3.5. Any and all help is appreciated. And I am sorry for another one of these questions! >_<

Do a factory reset on your iPod via iTunes. This will remove all of the media on your iPod and will install the latest version of iOS (5.0.1) on your iPod.

If this method doesn't work, try using another computer to update your iPod.
