My iPod wont stop turning off and on .?

See what it does is turn on and of by itself non-stop. i got my iPod jail broken a couple days ago and now it just turns off and on. when it comes on it shows the apple logo for a rather long time, then if on the charger it makes that robotic noise. the slide button screen will come on and with out me touching it the screen flashes white then repeats this over and over again. It has been doing this for a couple of days now what should i do?
