Restoring, means to return to factory settings. You will lose anything not on your itunes.

as long as all your music is on itunes no you will not.

no. I restored mine and nothing happen to it I still have my music and games....hope it helped :)

Well apparently it depends on which ipod you have. I had the first one and I restored it and lost everything. But somebody seems to say that theirs didn't. So if you need more information contact apple. You can go to www.apple.com and there should be a support number or email.

Yes, it will erase all your iPod music.
You should backup all your iPod music first.
I've done this several days ago. Really save time.
Go to iPod-tool.com and purchase the iPod to PC transfer software called Tansee iPod Transfer to help you backup all your iPod songs and videos.
The advantage lies in that it utilizes iPod's internal database to display your iPod's files instantly. That means, when you connect your iPod to PC, this program will automatically display all music/videos on your iPod. Once click "Copy" button, all files would be copied onto your selected folder on your PC.
