Should I buy an ipod Touch or an regular Mp3 player?

I have money for an ipod touch but wanted to know if it was worth the price or should I just buy an regular Mp3 player?

i pod touch. it has video and some games +apps

i personally believe you should get an ipod touch because for an mp3 you pay the value just to store music but for an ipod touch the last version you have a camera, you can surf the net, play games, listen to music, watch video's and many more things and all this now comes for a more convenient price then it didn,t when they where first introduced.

personally I would get a regular MP3 player, they are better value, and often better quality (see ipod battery life )

Play almost any format, and you don't have any nonsense or problem if you want to change the battery or use a standard USB cable etc

Most of the reason to get an apple is a "lifestyle statement"

EDIT:
See how many question relate to "I can't sync my ipod" , Itunes has blocked this, etc with a standard MP3 player you do whatever you like with your files

If you are clumsy stay away from the iPod Touch!!!! Im the clumsiest person and
I got an iPod Touch and within the first 5 months I had scratchs and my first few cracks
on it and now my iPod Touch is full on smashed. The battery life in a brand new doesn't last as
long and Apple has become cheap skates with the how strong the screen is and the quality of
the music.

I'd got for a normla MP3 is I was you.
