If I uninstall iTunes then reinstall it, will I loose my music?

Well, I made a new playlist with new music on it so that I could replace my old music on my iPod, and me and my dad were trying to open that little place where you can change what syncs onto your iPod. But, it wouldn't open, and then I figured if I closed iTunes and opened it again, it would show. But when I tried to re-open it, it said it wouldn't open and that I needed to re-install it. Will I lose all my music including my fathers?

If the music is on the iPod, you won't lose it. Just eject the cable while you're uninstalling just to make sure. If it's local playlists and library lists, it will most likely get deleted. Not the music, just the playlists and library lists themselves.

You will not loose any of your music content. If they are saved in a folder that does not have itunes programs or software, the folder wont be touched. If your music's in a folder named "itunes" they too will be untouched. Hope this helps :D

I think you will. Your best bet is to talk to iTunes about this one. Sorry to about this.
