what my friend used to do was go to playlist.com and there's a "view link" link i think somewhere next to the title. you'll get redirected to another page where there is a green link. copy that and paste it on the url box and go to file and save the page as .mp3.

You may refer to this step by step guide, it's about how to copy all music and video from iPod back to computer and iTunes. My friends sent it to me, it's safe and works pretty well for my iPod touch.

The most convenient and secure way is to use an iPod-to-computer transfer program to help you, like this handy one called Tansee iPod Transfer
http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tansee-iPod-Transfer.htm
Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer. The whole process goes as follows:

Firstly install this program on your computer. When you plug your iPod to the computer, this program will instantly display all songs and videos on the iPod.You simply select what you wish to transfer and click "Copy" button. Done. All your selected files will be copied to your computer safely. Now you can easily add those songs and videos to your iTunes library. See detailed guide.
More importantly, this won't overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names are preserved.

Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process:

Best luck!

Here is an easy way many of my friends use. That is to use this iPod to computer/iTunes direct transfer program

http://ipod-tool.com/ipod-software/joboshare-ipod-rip.html

It was designed to help transfer music, videos, photos, playlists, podcasts and more from iPod to computer and iTunes. So you can use it to transfer music from your iPod back to your iTunes in a direct way. Then all files are on your iTunes, and you can sync smoothly without deleting any files.

This is easy and quick. I recommend you try it.
Best luck!

You can try AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer automatically transfers your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos back to PC and iTunes. Backup all your music and video in a couple of clicks. If you own more than one iPods, AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer can simultaneously manage all the iPods in the same interface, you may transfer files among these iPods by drag-and-drop.
