When ever i try to sign into Facetime on my ipod touch 4G it doesn't work?

I always get the same message, "An error occurred during activation. Try again." So i try again, and it sill does not work! Help please!!

Probably because 4G is not 4G yet. 3rd paragraph of the source.

Try creating another account on facetime for mac (real purchase) if you have a mac.
http://www.apple.com/mac/facetime/
Then sign in on iPod Touch. Good luck.
