so i got a new ipod (replaced an old one) from apple today, and i got the wifi connected and it has a check mark next to my wireless internet's name so i know it is connected, but whenever i try to use safari or itunes or my email it says "safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet" but i see the wifi signal up in the top left corner that says it is connected. i already tried restarting it but it wont work. any ideas why?

ok, this is an annoying thing but just stay on the wifi screen for a couple secs, wait til it keeps to the wifi names for like 5seconds, then retry. Mine was a pain this way :)

hi..check out in your router DHCP is on or not ? if DHCP off so on it and restart your router.
