Will a USB port AC wall charger with round european prongs harm my phone?

Iam going to portugal in April, and need to bring something to charge my phone and Ipod with. I have a USB power adapter that allows me to plug in your standard USB 2.0 cable (such as a cable you'd normally use to sync up your device with your computer, or even to charge off your computer) that originally came from china with a simple adapter for north american outlets (no power conversion).

The specs read Input 110v-240v, Output: 5.5v ± 0.5v, 650mA±50mA. Clearly this charger is made to work in European outlets, but Since it allows cable with a USB 2.0 end to be plugged into it, my feeling is that I should be able to simply plug my phone and Ipod usb cable into it without any issues. The difference in voltages worries me and I dont want to harm my phone, or Ipod.

The phone I am using is a blackberry bold 9780.

Is it safe for me to charge my devices straight from the outlet?

The figures of 110V-240V in the specification mean that the charger can be plugged in to any voltage within that range.
