How much should I sell my dell xps 400 for?

It is in good condition. Had it for about 4 years, I can run windows flawlessly on it, I also have a router connector thingy magigy that helps you connect from farther distances, with a decent display and graphics card. I also have great speakers that I am also willing to sell. I was thinking about 500-600, so I could get a mac mini.

I would say due to the age of the machine and the useage anything higher than $100 bucks for this machine is not very likely gonna sell...when someone can buy a refurbushed duo-core with a higher memory and hdd capability for $100 from a local fixer-upper I would suggest u trade it into a local dealer who has a mac mini for a price and pay the rest to get urself a minimac. It would be easier to tell you a more exact price range if you list specifically what specs your computer has..

But looking that the possible specs it comes with, and that you got a video card probably 4 years ago with it, its probably not that great by todays standards...

For just the desktop (not including monitor, kb/mouse, speakers, all the extras) id say its worth probably about $50-80...

that thing is ancient, you can buy brand new desktops with better specs for like $200-300...

processor is 2-3x better, has like 2-4x more ram, im sure the integrated 4250 chipset is better then w/e graphic card you have. Brand new for $350 (im sure you can find a better deal shopping around too).

Your machine is very old by today's standards. Although, I must admit that even if someone were to go to a store and buy brand new today, it would likely be outdated in just a few short months.

You may, and I stress, MAY, be able to get $100 - $150 on craigslist or something comparable or you may just consider giving it to someone in need.
