Can I put a 1 TB sata in my 13 inch macbook Pro?

i have an external 1 tb western digital mybook and i want to take out the sata and put it in my macbook pro 13 inch will it work??

Is it a laptop sized drive? If so, I believe you can but then you will need to have OSX installed on it.
